Why We Created Supercar Guards

Supercar Guards were created after years of seeing sticky performance tires throw stones and road debris directly into the rocker panels and rear hips of Porsche 911s. Even vehicles protected with paint protection film can benefit from an OEM-inspired guard that redirects debris before it strikes the bodywork.

After owning multiple Porsche 911s, I started to notice how the rear hips got roosted with road debris, mainly small stones! I noticed other cars with the same paint damage in that hip and rocker area. Even though my car had PPF (Paint Protection Film) on them, this was still a cosmetic eye sore I couldn’t live with.

After some thought, I realized this damage had a lot to do with the sticky tires that come on the type of car. I wasn’t about to change to a harder compound tire or have my PPF reinstalled, so I knew I had to create a solution!

I had to design something that looked OEM-inspired.  or factory and something that wouldn’t alter the good looks of the car. This was the start of Supercar Guards! I had to create a product to save my cars and other car enthusiasts out there!
